It all connects to who you really are as a person.
You know who you are as a person is what people are going to see. They can smell fake. They can smell phony. They can smell if you are not REAL.
They see you online. They are looking at you they can see your eyes. They can hear your words. They are watching your content. So its what you give them that’s honest, and real and authentic.
The DNA Conversation is the most important thing you can do to be authentic. This allows you to see what image and sound you are portraying because it really matters.
What’s going to make you seem to matter to someone who has seen a million things along the way? How do you break through distractions?
Every day we see distractions when we look at our phone.
How are you going to be that special unique Artist?
That special unique individual – WHAT MAKES YOU MATTER?
To your FIRST FANS
To your First RESPONDERS
And eventually to a massive audience that follows you and believes you.
This is about people believing you.
This is about people wanting to push you to spread your vision to their world, their friends, their family to a place THAT MATTERS.
If are here right now, YOU WERE MEANT TO DO THIS.
Maybe you haven’t figured it out yet how to get “you” out to the world. Maybe you haven’t figured out how to get your messaging right. The way you do this is by writing down the honesty that you represent. Knowing your inner self and then being able to project that out to the world, and being able to project the only way you know how.
I can’t tell you how to do it. A manager is not going to be able to do it for you. It all starts with you and your authenticity. You have to be who you want to be. Once you go out there, that mark is permanent. So make sure before you make your mark out, you are fully confident in what it is.
That’s why I call that REAL TALK.
When You look at the artist you like or the artist you respect you can break down their DNA.
Here’s an exercise for you:
Pick your top 5 artists that inspire you to be who you are today.
Break down their DNA
- What do they believe in?
- What do they sound like?
- What are their core values?
- Why do you like their music?
- What will define you and set you apart?
